We are seeking a dynamic and strategically driven R&D leader to spearhead innovation, technical execution, and category development in Seasonings, Culinary products, and Flavours. This role involves leading end-to-end project execution, building strong technical capabilities, and collaborating across functions to drive business growth and innovation.
Key Roles & Responsibilities
- Strategic Leadership & Innovation
- Spearhead the technical function to achieve Plant Lipids sales targets for Seasonings, Culinary products, and Flavours.
- Work in conjunction with Marketing, Commercial, and Innovation teams to execute projects and develop new concepts and propositions.
- Drive project vitality by ensuring effective execution and adoption of projects.
- Build and strengthen technical resources and infrastructure, including Food Technologists and Chefs, to improve speed and efficiency.
- Collaborate with Sales, Creation, and Consumer Insights teams to drive innovation.
- Provide technical guidance and capabilities to both internal and external stakeholders.
- Develop innovative concepts and present them to customers and internal stakeholders.
- Project Execution & Operations
- Ensure end-to-end execution of projects from customer brief to presentation and commercialization.
- Oversee smooth functioning of the Tropical Flavours R&D department.
- Develop new concepts in Seasonings and Culinary products.
- Team Leadership & Development
- Coach and mentor teams including Application Technologists, Chefs, Chemists, Flavorists, and Food Technologists.
- Build team capabilities in new applications, technologies, and infrastructure.
- Represent the organization in exhibitions and trade shows.

Qualifications & Experience
Graduate / Postgraduate / B-Tech in Science or Food Technology.
Minimum 8 years of experience in Seasonings and Flavours.
