We are looking for an energetic and detail-oriented Senior Officer – Sales to support our business growth across domestic and international markets. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in sales operations, customer management, and export documentation within the spices or food ingredients industry. This role requires strong coordination skills, proactive communication, and a customer-first mindset to ensure seamless order execution and service excellence.

Key Roles & Responsibilities

  • Identify and acquire new clients across assigned regions (international and domestic).
  • Contribute actively towards achieving the organisation’s overall sales targets.
  • Follow up on customer enquiries and convert potential leads into sales opportunities.
  • Verify customer contracts, agreements, and purchase orders to ensure accuracy and compliance.
  • Prepare and cross-check export shipment documentation for accuracy and completeness.
  • Follow up with customers to ensure timely payments and maintain a healthy receivables cycle.
  • Provide prompt responses to customer enquiries and complaints (within 24 hours).
  • Use ERP software for order entry, invoicing, and related sales operations.
  • Coordinate closely with Purchase, Production, Quality Control, and R&D teams to ensure smooth workflow and timely deliveries.
  • Keep clients informed on despatch status, potential delays, and shipment schedules.
  • Send despatch notifications to clients promptly with invoices, Certificates of Analysis (COA), and tracking information in the company’s standard format.
  • Conduct weekly container tracking and provide shipment updates to customers.
  • Collaborate with the R&D team to ensure timely delivery of samples to clients.
  • Follow up with clients to gather feedback on samples and ensure satisfaction.
  • Maintain accurate records of sales activities and submit timely reports to management.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Educational Qualification: MBA/PGDM – Marketing / Sales
  • Experience: 2–5 years of experience in Sales & Marketing within the spices or food ingredients industry

Technical Competencies

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Proficieny in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)

Skilled in sales positioning, execution, and customer presentation

Experience working with ERP systems
