We are seeking a dynamic and innovation-driven Portfolio Manager (Commercialization) to join our Product development team to explore new business opportunities & manage a set of innovative projects by working closely with R&D, commercial & business operations to sufficiently understand the technical details and translate them into commercial opportunities.
Key Roles & Responsibilities
Strategic
- Identify, explore, and evaluate new business opportunities that drive portfolio growth.
- Lead the development and management of business cases across multiple high-impact projects.
- Collaborate closely with R&D, Commercial, and Business Operations to translate technical insights into viable commercial propositions.
- Guide the overall commercialization strategy for assigned projects, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
- Oversee planning and execution of clinical studies where required.
Execution
- Manage the full project life cycle—from opportunity identification, scoping, and business case development to execution and implementation.
- Present recommendations, insights, and business cases to senior stakeholders internally and externally.
- Drive project execution by coordinating with cross-functional teams and external partners.
- Ensure timely delivery of commercialization outcomes while maintaining strong project vitality.
People / Collaboration
- Build strong working relationships with internal teams, partners, and senior-level stakeholders.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless execution across technical and commercial aspects.
- Act as a connector between technical and business domains, enhancing organizational understanding of technical opportunities.

Technical Competencies

Qualifications & Experience
- Master’s/PhD in Science or Engineering; MBA preferred.
- 5+ years of experience in business development, marketing, portfolio management, innovation, consulting, or related fields.
- Approximately 30% travel is expected.
